¿Qué es el antifouling autopulimentable?

También llamados patentes autopulimentables y antifouling matriz erosionable, los antifouling autopulimentables liberan sus biocidas durante un largo periodo de tiempo, a medida que la capa se va lijando y adelgazando, de modo que siempre hay una capa de biocidas activos. Sin embargo, si se navega a gran velocidad, este lijado puede ser excesivo, por lo que este antifouling no se recomienda en todos los casos.

Particularidad de la matriz autopulimentable

Esta técnica moderna y única tiene la ventaja de que siempre está activa. Las resinas hidrosolubles permiten que los biocidas suban a la superficie, que permanece lisa aunque la pintura se desgaste por completo.

Como este tipo de antiincrustante mantiene el casco liso durante la temporada de navegación, es adecuado para un buen deslizamiento en el agua.

Preparacion antifouling

¿Para qué barco?

Las pinturas antifouling autopulimentables están pensadas para embarcaciones que salen con frecuencia y cuya velocidad es inferior a 25 nudos. Esto se debe a que el lijado natural causado por la fricción en el casco lleva los biocidas a la superficie. Si las embarcaciones están amarradas, es preferible la matriz dura, ya que las patentes autopulimentables pueden ensuciarse rápidamente si la pintura no es pulida naturalmente por el agua.

Para las embarcaciones estacionarias, rápidas, sujetas a la corriente, o simplemente almacenadas en seco, no utilices antifouling erosionable, prefiere el antifouling matriz dura que es más duradero.

Para una embarcación que se mueve lentamente, que no sale mucho y que está amarrada en una zona con poca corriente, el antifouling autopulimentable es la solución más adecuada..

Mantenimiento de la patente autopulimentable frente a la matriz dura

Una capa de renovación cada año es suficiente y no es necesario lijar, las capas no se superponen de un año a otro, a diferencia del antifouling de matriz dura que necesita ser lijado y requiere más tiempo y energía. Si vas a comprar un barco de segunda mano, comprueba qué tipo de pintura utilizó el anterior propietario para no equivocarte.
